Post 20 | A Small Win In The Battle Against The Proliferation Of HMOs

Last week, RBC’s Planning Committee voted unanimously to look further into the impact that HMOs are having on the Egham & Englefield Green community. It was agreed that further work should be carried out to see whether it is appropriate to introduce an Article 4 Direction.

This represents the first small win in the battle against HMOs.

Further, it clarifies that it is indeed both practicable and possible to restrict HMOs by regulation. Correction Number 2 for the Conservative’s newsletter.
