Post 23 – 16/04/23 – New Members & Aligned Reporting Procedure with EGVRA & Meeting Confirmed
There is quite a bit going on at the moment and therefore there will be a couple of posts in relatively quick succession before settling back into the more usual frequency of one post a week/ fortnight.
First, welcome to the people that have recently joined this group. We hope you will find the posts and information on the website both helpful and interesting. For the benefit of the new members, we have copied the previous posts below. It may be a bit of a long read now but it should help explain a bit about what is going on.
Second, we are happy to let you know that we have been working with EGVRA* over the last couple of weeks and have aligned our reporting procedure for Student ASB. The procedure we believe fulfils 3 key requirements:
+ Is easy for us residents to use.
+ Ensures that student ASB complaints are recorded in the right place so that the data can be called upon when required as evidence.
+ Is effective: produce the best result for the victim.
For those that are affected by ASB, many are fatigued and no longer report incidents as the benefit is often not tangible. But please carry on. It is important that reporting is maintained using the procedure so that incidents are recorded in the correct place. We hope that this aligned procedure will help remove any ambiguity on what to do if you are impacted by student ASB.
