Post 77 – 11/11/24 – Meet Surrey Police

We thought you might enjoy this Pathe video of Princess Mary attending Royal Holloway back in 1937, for a tree planting to celebrate its 50th jubilee….

We also thought you might like to join us on Monday 25th November for Surrey Police’s ‘Policing your community’ event. The meeting is to take place at The Village Centre, Englefield Green at 6.30pm. (Egham residents are welcome too.)

Here attendees will have the opportunity to ask Surrey Police questions and raise any concerns they may have following a short presentation.

The lineup is quite a good one: Chief Constable Tim De Meyer and Police & Crime Commissioner Lisa Townsend will be attending along with the local Borough Commander, Ian Nash.

During the evening we hope to show them some slightly more up to date video from the community: student ASB videos, and ask Surrey Police some questions about their handling of student ASB and Noise.
