Post 88 – 25/05/25 – Your Community Needs You – Saturday 14th June – More Details
We are having to mix things up over the next couple of weeks. There is much going on and we are having to break away from our current campaign, apologies – we will come back to it as soon as we can.
So we are running with a Photocall on Saturday 14th June. We would like all residents that are concerned about Royal Holloway’s poor management, planning and their lack of regard for the community to come together to express their dissatisfaction.
Are you concerned? If so, this is your opportunity to let Royal Holloway know.
Last year was a great success. From a time point of you, it was low commitment (30 minutes) yet it delivered a sizable punch and ultimately resulted in a positive outcome. It is just a matter of turning up with or without a banner (more info on banners to follow) for a photo to be taken.
(Last year, RHUL’s SLT, for the first time in a long time, had to sit up and take notice that it could no longer placate the community with platitudes and slogans like, ‘We Take Being A Good Neighbour Seriously’.)

Finally, do please come along, and if hesitant, how about bringing a friend or neighbour along? (I dragged a number of my neighbours along last year!) Last year’s event had a great buzz to it and the turnout surpassed our expectations with little marketing. And this year we are going to do some more marketing – this poster will be distributed to households; shared on social media, will be posted in shop windows and shared through other channels. And you can help here too. Could you please forward this message to your neighbours and friends? Word of mouth is still the best promotional vehicle.
